About this game
Hazard Pay is a troll platformer that drops you into the worst factory imaginable, where floors disappear under your feet, doors wander off and spikes shoot up the moment you touch down. It is built around the idea that the safe-looking route is usually the trap, so every step asks you to slow down and think.
You choose one of three workers before each run. Cinder, the salamander, can slide down walls and kick off them. Pip, the crash-test dummy, gets a second jump in mid-air. Rivet, the robot, can hover and scan for hidden hazards. Each one changes how you approach the levels, so the same room can feel completely different depending on your pick.
The game contains 60 hand-made shifts, and your earnings from them can be spent on hats and trails to customize your worker. Play it right in your browser with no download or installation needed.
How to play
Move with the arrow keys or A and D. Jump with Space, W, Up or Z, and hold the button to jump higher. Press Down or S to drop through thin platforms. Press R to restart a level and Esc to pause.
