About this game

Half-Life 2: Beat Em Up is a side-scrolling action and platform game inspired by Valve's well-known FPS series. You step into the role of a fighter making your way through City 17, Route Kanal, Ravenholm, Nova Prospekt and finally the Citadel. Each stage brings a fresh crowd of enemies and obstacles that you need to punch through and clear.
The game is a fan project built with HTML5 and styled after classic Flash games. It runs right in your browser, so there is nothing to download or install before you start. The controls are easy to pick up within minutes, but the pace steadily picks up and later stages demand quick reflexes and good timing.
For fans of the series, it is a fun way to revisit familiar locations with a completely different style of gameplay. It also works well as a quick arcade session for players who just want to jump in and fight for a few minutes.
