About this game
Something is scurrying across a picnic blanket, and you play the shoe that has to stop it. Bug Crunch is a fast arcade action game built around timing and reflexes. Drag to slide your foot across the blanket, tap for a quick stomp, or hold to charge a heavy SLAM that shakes the ground when it lands.
Squishing bugs in quick succession builds a Splat Chain, and the score multiplier climbs all the way to x50. The soundtrack speeds up as your chain grows, so the rhythm of the run becomes part of the challenge. Fill the Juice vial and you can trigger SPLAT FEVER, a ten-second stretch where you become a giant golden boot that flattens anything it touches.
The game spans 40 levels across 4 worlds, with 10 bug types, 4 bosses and 6 shoes to unlock along the way. There is no reading involved, just tap and crush. It is free to play in your browser with no download needed.
How to play
Drag anywhere to move your foot across the screen. Tap or click to stomp quickly. Press and hold for a charged SLAM, then release to hit the ground.
