About this game
Arctic Truck Driver puts you behind the wheel of a heavy truck crossing frozen lakes in a realistic 3D setting. The ice controls how fast you can move: thick, pale ice holds your weight, while dark patches with glowing cracks are dangerously thin. Push too hard and the surface gives way under your wheels, so every route needs careful thought.
The job board offers a range of loads. You can haul mining supplies, drive a fuel tanker that surges forward and sideways when you brake, transport long bundles of pipe, or deliver explosives that demand a steady hand. Rescue runs ask you to tow a stranded pickup back to camp. Convoy driving adds another layer, since you have to keep a safe gap between vehicles while navigating the same treacherous ground.
Steer around patches of open water, ease off for pressure ridges, and keep one eye on the ice stress meter at all times. Everything runs in your browser, so there is nothing to install before you head out onto the ice.
How to play
Press W or the Up Arrow to accelerate and S or the Down Arrow to brake. Hold brake while stopped to reverse. Steer with A and D or the Left and Right Arrows. Space drops your cargo, H sounds the horn, C switches the camera, and P or Esc pauses the game. On mobile, use the on-screen steering wheel and pedals.
